Resin Bound Aggregate System

What are the differences between Resin Bound & Resin Bonded

What is a Resin Bound Driveway?

The aggregates is mixed with the resin. The materials are then troweled down to a smooth finish similar to a screed.

Depths are specified depending on use, usually 15mm is laid as a minimum.

Resin bound installations are suitable for vehicular traffic.

What is Resin Bonded?

A layer of resin is applied to the surface and then the aggregate is scattered on top, which can then become loose over time.

Resin bonded installations are only suitable for light foot traffic.
